My First Craft Giveaway

I have been a little busy with the move and also wanted to make sure that those who left comments got what they wanted and could use. My friend Ku'uipo requested an apron. I had my eye on a pattern and even bought the fabric hoping someone would want an apron. I finished it this morning. It is reversible. I love it and hope she will too.

Becca is my model.

Now don't you wish you had left a comment? =)

"Addy, Addy, Addy!!!"

...that's what Audrey was saying all last week, because Addie was coming to visit. Becca came to deal with some of her rental properties and we have been able to play, play, play with Addy. Even Nathan says Addy now.

This is the "ship wreck" a small hike away behind our house.
We have no idea how it got there.
It is too wrecked to play in, but it is fun to see.

My kids can't get enough of biking. I'm glad we have two or there would be a constant fight.

Audrey is getting so good! We have a small parking lot next door for the park. No one uses it because they all just walk to the park, so it is the perfect place to ride in circles and not worry about cars or narrow sidewalks.

Winter Wonderland..in April???

I just took these pictures.
Happy April 16th!

The snow might be pretty, but I was really hoping for pretty FLOWERS in April.
I am jealous of all of you who do have flowers right now.

Happy Easter!

Curtis and I got to talk in our new ward today about the atonement and resurrection. I think that it went pretty well. Everyone shook our hands and thanked us for the good job in the hall afterward. We have a very friendly ward.

I had a meeting after church, so Curtis decided to take the Easter pics without me so the kids could get out of their Sunday clothes. This is the result:

Nathan sat sweetly and smiled with the reversible tie I made for him last night, isn't it cute?

Audrey ran and tried to hide. Grandma Judy bought this beautiful dress for her.

And she ended up crying on the floor when he still took a picture of her.
Maybe we'll have to put these outfits on again and try one more time.

My sister Zilpha and her family came to visit from North Carolina. It was really good to see them. Last week we went swimming with them and today we had an Easter egg hunt in our backyard.

We also played Raving Rabbids TV Party.

Notice the towels in the window? We will be hanging the blinds tomorrow. =)

On Saturday we went to my high school ward's Easter egg hunt. We figured a city hunt would be too crazy for our kids. It was fun to see old friends.

We also saw the Easter bunny at Walmart. Nathan giggled at this "large stuffed bunny" that moved.

Happy Easter Everyone!

Sarah the Pill Popper

This is one meals worth, I counted over 40 per day!

I couldn't fit all the pills in the boxes that I have, so I had to go buy bigger ones!

Why am I doing this you ask?
Well, first off, they are Standard Process Vitamins, made with whole foods, so you take 6 of this one and 9 of that one instead of just one chemically produced kind.

I recently noticed that one of my eyes is blurrier than the other. I went to an ophthalmologist and he said it was most likely optic neuritis. It is a swelling of the optic nerve, the cause is usually unknown and it will go away in hopefully about 2 months. In addition to that he suggested possibly getting tested for Multiple Sclerosis. About 50% of the people who have optic neuritis will eventually get MS. This is a scary thought. I have watched my Aunt Wendy slowly decline from vibrant to helpless, it is heart breaking. With my mom's advise and my dad's Standard Process discount we have started this regimen to build up my immune system and heal any damage to my nerves. I see the ophthalmologist again at the end of the month. We will see what he says, but for now I don't plan on being tested because I have no other MS symptoms.

By the way, do you think I have to subtract points from my Weight Watchers daily total because of all these pills? =)

Look What I Made...

Can you guess what it is?
Here's a hint...it is my next product for my Buzz About Baby business.

It is a nursing strap. You can clip it to any blanket and keep it in place. No more baby assisted flashings!

I am not nursing any more, but I think this idea is really neat and more affordable than a nursing cover, which I still love. They are not available yet, I need to order the hardware still, but I am excited to share. What do you think?
